TERMS & CONDITIONS
The promoter is RFG Foods (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”).
The promotional competition (“the Competition”) is open to all South African residents who are in possession of a valid South African identity document, passport or document of proof of South African residency. Any director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Promoter, the marketing service providers or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by these entities, including their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members may not enter or participate in the Competition and will automatically be disqualified upon entry.
All participants must be 18 (Eighteen) years or older.
This promotional competition is open from 00:01 on 1 October 2025 and ends at 11:59 pm on 31 December 2025 (“the Competition Period”). Any entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
How to Enter
To participate, entrants need to buy the 300g Bull Brand Corned Meat product, Scan the QR code on the inside label and follow the prompts as indicated. Participants may enter as many times as they wish provided that each entry is associated with a separate qualifying purchase.

Participants will be required to keep their till slip(s) as proof of purchase.
Participants must ensure that their contact details submitted when entering are correct as these are the contact details that the Promoter will use to reach the winner. If a winner has given incorrect contact details, the Promoter reserves the right to select another winner in terms of the rules.
The prize:
Entrants stand a chance to their share of R200 000 (Two Hundred Thousand Rand) in cash.
There shall be a total of 45 (forty five) winners selected by a random draw for the Competition. The total prize money of R200 000 (Two Hundred Thousand Rand) shall be distributed among the winners in the following manner:
- 25 (Twenty Five) winners will each receive a cash prize of R2 000 (Two Thousand Rand), amounting to R50,000 (Fifty Thousand Rand) in total;
- 10 (Ten) winners will each receive a cash prize of R5 000 (Five Thousand Rand), amounting to R50,000 (Fifty Thousand Rand) in total; and
- 10 (Ten) winners will each receive a cash prize of R10 000 (Ten Thousand Rand), amounting to R100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Rand) in total.
Accordingly, the aggregate of all prize money distributed shall be R200 000 (Two Hundred Thousand Rand).
Prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for other prizes
45 (forty five) winners will be randomly drawn by the Promotor or its agent once the Competition Period has ended. The draw will be overseen by an independent accountant or registered auditor or practicing attorney or advocate, who will ensure that the Competition is conducted fairly and in compliance with Regulation 11 of the Consumer Protection Act (Act No. 68 of 2008) (“the CPA”). The name and contact details of the independent auditor/attorney/advocate will be made available to any person on request. Winners will be contacted via telephone, SMS, email or WhatsApp and are required to provide and verify their details such as Identity number, full names and banking confirmation. The Promoter (or their agent) will try to contact each winner for 3 (three) consecutive attempts after their name is drawn.
If the winners cannot be contacted within the aforementioned period, the prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected in accordance with the rules. Once successfully contacted, the winner must claim the prize within 48 (forty eight) hours by confirming the acceptance of the prize, either telephonically or in writing and by providing a valid copy of his/her identity document for verification purposes of the Promoter.
The prize will be paid to winners as follows: winners of the R2 000 (Two Thousand Rand) cash prize will receive their funds via cardless cash, and winners of the higher-value cash prizes will be paid via EFT within 2 to 5 working days after providing their banking details to the Fone Worxs team.
Fone Worxs and RFG are not responsible for processing time required by the relevant banks. The entrant indemnifies the promoter against any loss or damage, that may be suffered by the entrant in relation to participation and the enjoyment of the prize. The entrant will be responsible for ensuring that the bank details provided to Fone Worxs are correct.
By entering the Competition and as a condition to receive a Prize, the entrant consents to the processing of their personal information by the Promoter, subject to the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013, and the Promoter reserves the right to name and publish images of the winner publicly and any other place where the Promoter deems fit.
By entering the Competition, you authorise the Promoter to collect, store and use (not share unless specified otherwise) personal information of Participants for marketing, communication or statistical purposes. You are entitled to decline any marketing communication by emailing [customercare@rfg.com]. Any personal data submitted by you will be used solely in accordance with current South African data protection legislation and the Promoter’s privacy policy. The Promoter may share your personal information with a co-sponsor/partner of the Competition as specified on the Competition entry form. The winner or participants may be requested to take part in publicity campaigns for broadcast or publishing purposes. Winners or participants shall at all times be entitled to decline the above request. Winners or participants that take part in any publicity will not be entitled to any payment or other remuneration for such publicity or otherwise. All publicity and other materials will be the sole property of the Promoter.
The Promoter does not sell or rent personal information about individual members to third parties. The Promoter may, however, disclose personal information in response to a specific request by a law enforcement agency, subpoena, court order, or as required by law.
Failure to claim the prize or a refusal or inability to comply with these requirements will disqualify the winner and a new winner will be drawn in their place at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
The Competition shall comply with, and will be subject to, any peremptory provisions of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”), and the regulations promulgated thereunder, which are deemed to be incorporated herein (“Peremptory Provisions”). In the event of any conflict between these Rules and the Peremptory Provisions, the latter shall prevail.
