Bull Brand Corned Meat and Cheddar Savoury Breakfast Muffins Start your day off right with these Bull Brand Corned Meat and Cheddar Savoury Breakfast Muffins. They’re packed with corned meat and cheddar cheese, making them the perfect on-the-go breakfast or snack.


  • 1 can Bull Brand Corned Meat, diced into 1cm cubes
  • 300 g plain flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. bi-carb of soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, lightly whisked
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 150 g grated cheddar cheese
  • 85 ml vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tbsp. dried parsley


  1. Preheat oven to 180˚C.
  2. Place margarine in a microwave proof bowl and melt in 30 second intervals.
  3. Brush a 12-hole standard muffin tin generously with margarine, being sure to spread evenly. Reserve some margarine to brush the tops of the muffin or line the muffin tray with the paper muffin cups.
  4. In a frying pan, fry the Bull Brand corned meat until crumbled and golden. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, bi-carb of soda and salt
  6. Whisk together in a separate bowl the egg , milk, grated cheese, oil, parsley.
  7. Pour the wet ingredients including the fried Bull Brand Corned Meat into the dry ingredients bowl. Mix until just combined.
  8. Divide evenly between the muffin tray.
  9. Bake for 22 to 25 minutes or until the muffins are golden and crusty and spring back when touched in the center.
  10. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly, Remove the muffins onto a cooling rack and brush with the remaining margarine (microwave again if needed).
