INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can Bull brand corned meat
  • 1 onion – chopped
  • 1 can Rhodes Quality mixed vegetables
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • dipping sauce of choice

METHOD

  1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC
  2. Fry the chopped onion until soft and starts to turn a light brown colour. Place into a bowl.
  3. Add the Bull Brand corned meat, the egg, breadcrumbs, brown sugar, and canned vegetables.
  4. Using clean hands, combine all the ingredients, breaking up the vegetables if to chunks.
  5. The mixture needs to be able to bind together and hold its shape.
  6. Season to taste and then transfer into a loaf tin. Press down until firmly set
  7. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh herbs (optional) and a dipping sauce of your choice.
