INGREDIENTS

  • 1 x 450g Bull Brand Canned Bolognaise
  • 250g Pasta Screws
  • 1/2 cup Grated Cheese

METHOD

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water.
  2. Pour the Bull Brand Canned Bolognaise into a pan and heat until warmed through.
  3. Mix the pasta and warmed bolognaise together and place into a baking dish. Top with grated cheese and bake at 180°C until the cheese has melted.
  4. Serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 x 450g Bull Brand Canned Chili Mince
  • 1 cup White Rice
  • 1 tbsp Salt, fine
  • 1 x 400g Rhodes Black Beans

METHOD

  1. Place the rice into a pot.
  2. Add 3 cups of water and a tbsp of salt.
  3. Cook for 20 to 30 mins. Drain once the rice is cooked. In a pan mix the Bull Brand Canned Chili Mince and Rhodes Black Beans and warm through.
  4. Serve with the cooked rice.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 x 450g Bull Brand Savoury Mince
  • 2 cups Maize Meal
  • 2 1/2 cups Water
  • 1 tsp Salt, fine

METHOD

  1. Add the 2 1/2 cups of water to a pot and the salt and bring it to a boil.
  2. Add the 1 1/2 cup maize meal to the center of the water.
  3. Close with a tight fitting lid. Do not stir.
  4. Allow to cook on medium heat for 5-8 mins, without opening the pot. After the initial cook of 5-8 mins, lower the stove heat.
  5. Lift the pot lid and stir vigorously with a wooden spoon or handle of wooden spoon.
  6. Cook the Phuthu for 30 mins, on low heat with the pot lid on. After 15 mins, sprinkle in the remainder 1/2 Cup Maize Meal, and use the wooden spoon or fork to fluff up the phuthu pap.
  7. Warm the savoury mince in a pan and serve with the Phutu.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 x 450g Bull Brand Savoury Mince
  • 4 Slices Of White Bread
  • 1/4 cup Grated Cheese

METHOD

  1. Heat the Bull Brand Savoury Mince in a pan.
  2. Scoop the mince filling onto 2 slices of bread.
  3. Cover the mince with cheese and top with the other slices of bread.
  4. Toast the sandwich in a sandwich press or in a pan with a bit of oil.
  5. Toast until the cheese has melted. Serve immediately.

  • 2/3 White Bread Loaf

METHOD

  1. Heat the Bull Brand Curried Mince in a pan.
  2. Cut the Bread Loaf into thirds and take out the middle part of the one third so you have a bread bowl.
  3. Pour the Bull Brand Curried Mince into the center of the bread.
  4. Optional: serve with tomato salsa and grated carrot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 x 450g Bull Brand Savoury Mince 500g Samp

METHOD

  1. Pour 1 l water into a pot.
  2. Add the samp to the pot.
  3. Let it cook for 5 minutes on high heat. After 5 minutes reduce to medium heat.
  4. Let it cook for 2 hours.
  5. Drain the starchy water.
  6. Heat the Bull Brand Savoury Mince in a pan.
  7. Serve with the cooked Samp.

  • 1/2 x 400 g Rhodes Whole Corn Kernels
  • 1 cup Basmati
  • 1 tbsp Salt, fine
  • 1/4 cup Grated Cheese

METHOD

  1. Heat the Bull Brand Savoury Mince in a pan and add the corn.
  2. Cook the white rice 3 cups of water in a pot and 1 tbsp. of salt.
  3. Cook for 20 to 30 mins.
  4. Once the rice is cooked drain it.
  5. Mix the cooked rice with the mince and corn mixture.
  6. Place into a baking dish and add cheese on top.
  7. Bake until the cheese has melted.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 x 450g Bull Brand Savoury Mince
  • 1/2 tin Rhodes Peas
  • 500 g Potato
  • 2 tbsp Margarine
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Salt

METHOD

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  2. Peel the potatoes.
  3. Add the peeled potatoes to a pot of water and bring to a boil.
  4. Boil the potatoes until they are tender.
  5. Drain the potatoes and mash them until smooth.
  6. Add the milk, margarine and salt.
  7. In a baking tray add the savoury mince and peas and mix to combine.
  8. Top with the mashed potato and bake in the oven for 20 mins. until golden and bubbly.
